How fast the months are passing by! We will begin a new Unit of Inquiry this week, titled “Faces and Places of our School”. We will explore how schools are organized to help us live and learn together. This week we will begin by finding out what students know about our school, who works here, and what is their job.
Children have gained a lot of confidence in their story telling journals recently, and are trying very hard to label pictures with letters and words, and attempt to write an accompanying sentence, almost independently.
In Japanese class this week, children will celebrate Setsubun no hi (節分の日) with some bean throwing.
We look forward to seeing you all at the Student-Parent-Teacher conferences this week. Have a good week!
